What dues do I pay to belong to ABWA?

There is an annual national fee and chapter dues. Currently, the
national fee is $90 and includes a membership to WIN, ABWA’s
instructional network. The chapter dues are $21 and prorated
throughout the year if a member were to join mid-year.

Do I have to “know somebody” to join ABWA?

No, anyone can join but it is a great way to “know” many more people!

What if I want to join in the middle of the year?

Send the application to the contact address along with he national
dues of $90 and the prorated chapter fee to become a member. You will
be contacted about meetings and your new membership.

What are the benefits of being an ABWA member, both
National and local?

National-you have access to WIN which is a great developmental tool.
There are classes and trainings offered (some are free and some must
be purchased) to help with your professional development.

Where can I find the ABWA logo?

has the logo on the homepage. The logo is also on the homepage of this
website.

What is the new program called “WIN” and how do I access
it?
-
WIN is short for Women’s Instructional Network. You can access WIN by
logging into WIN at
www.abwa.org.
You will be given a username and password at the first login through
an e-mail. Once you have your username and password, you can continue
through to the WIN portal. Once you have entered the portal, you are
in WIN. There you can search for miscellaneous training or find more
information about your chapter. You must be a member to have access to
WIN.
